With the advent of Digital Printing came new possibilities
and a greater degree of flexibility in document layout. However, with
it also came a higher degree of responsibility and maintenance. Digital
documents tend to have problems with incompatibility and formatting, which
can sometimes turn out to be more than an inconvenience for the customer
and the printer. Please refer to the Graphic Services section of the site for digital file types we accept here at Harvest. When submitting digital files to Harvest, it is best to
actually provide us with the file on disk (physical submission, versus
e-mail, is much more reliable.) Out of convenience we have set up an FTP
address for file submission. As always with digital files, we need a hard copy of the document(s) to compare to our prints. This often reduces the time spent proofing the documents before press. We also need any linked or embedded fonts and graphics used to create the documents. |
